The Port of Cruise Eden welcomed French cruise line Compagnie du Ponant’s ship L’Austral in January.
At just 142 metres in length and carrying approximately 260 passengers and 130 crew, L’Austral is a boutique cruise ship offering around the world itineraries.
En route from Sydney, L’Austral allowed both international and domestic visitors to sample Eden town and surrounds as well as local national parks and wildlife.
The Pacific Pearl made its maiden voyage to the Port of Eden en route from Sydney to Mornington Peninsula in February.
1,536 mainly domestic passengers disembarked to enjoy a day Cruising around Eden and various shore tours including Scenic Sapphire Coast, Seahorse Inn, Eden and the Whale Museum among others.
Pacific Pearl returned to the Port of Eden in March with 1,537 domestic passengers disembarking to enjoy Eden and the Sapphire Coast.
At 247 metres the Pacific Pearl is one of the largest ships the Port of Eden has welcomed, and only the second time we have welcomed a domestic ship with such high passenger capacity.
