Set in magnificent Twofold Bay on Australia’s East Coast – the Port of Eden is the third deepest natural harbour in the southern hemisphere.
Cruise Eden caters for cruise ships of all sizes with large vessels favouring anchorage in a sheltered location, just 5 minutes tender ride from the heart of town. A major upgrade to the wharf infrastructure will allow ships up to 325m to berth alongside from 2018.
The region is known as the ‘humpback highway’ and every year, between September and November, our waters play host to thousands of humpbacks heading home to Antarctica.
Eden was home to shore-based whaling stations and Old Tom, the legendary killer whale whose story can be discovered at the Eden Killer Whale Museum.
